anda has extensive experience working in the not for profit legal sector in Victoria, Australia. She spent many years as an outreach lawyer with sex work and drug user communities, and has also worked with involuntary patients in the mental health system. In 2021 Vanda set up a social enterprise law firm, Amica Legal Service. Amica Legal Service aims to provide low cost and free representation in minor criminal and civil matters to people experiencing drug and alcohol dependency, homelessness, significant mental health issues, or poverty related issues.

Vanda has been involved with Lawyering on The Margins since its inception and very much looks forward to contributing to its development and successes, and continuing to learn from peers in other countries.
